OUR CAST

Miss Julia Tesman - Caro Aristei
Caro is happy to be involved in a classic play, with fine actors, directors, producers, and artistic contributors. The experience is the best that Community Theater can offer! Caro has appeared in several other productions at Patio, including Cabaret, and FrUiTcAkEs, both of which were a blast! Thanks from the bottom of my heart to my Mom and Clark and to the friends and family who have come to see this wonderful play.

  George Tesman - Kenn Burnett
Kenn is happy to be making his debut performance with Patio Playhouse. He has performed in numerous productions throughout Los Angeles and San Diego including: Tony Kushner’s The Illusion, Gross Indecency - The Three Trials of
Oscar Wilde, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, The Miser, and the award winning productions and performances of Amadeus, Biloxi Blues, Blue Window and Beau Jest to name just a few. He is pleased to be fortunate enough to work with such an outstanding cast and crew, and is thankful to the Patio family for
making him feel so welcomed. “Fancy that…eh?!”

  Berta - Elisabeth Cerne
Elisabeth is excited to be a new actress at Patio Playhouse, and acting again after a reluctant hiatus from the theatre. She first took classes in NJ after graduating from Rutgers University, and
decided to finally fulfill her own dreams in acting, writing and music. After moving to Los Angeles, she studied under Charlotte Gray, Hilary Miller, and Joel Asher. Elisabeth
performed in a showcase at Acting Place and was seen briefly in Crossing Jordan. She would like to thank her husband, Raul, for putting up with her practicing lines out loud in their living room.

  Judge Brack - Frank Comstock
Frank began his theatrical career with a southern drawl as Red Grover in OnStage Production's Last Meeting of the White Magnolia, followed by the role of Mr. McLeavy in Loot. He also performed as Dr. Von Helsing in Vlad for THEATRX. For Patio Playhouse, he has performed as Papa in I Remember Mama, the provost in Measure for Measure, Antonio the merchant in The Merchant of Venice, and most recently as Arthur Kirk in Nuts where he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Frank has used a range of dialects and, in fact, says he was in several plays before he got to use his own voice! "The various dialects are the music of the world's diverse people and cultures."

  Eilert Lovborg - Chris DeArmond
This is Christopher’s sixth appearance on stage with Patio Playhouse and he is glad to be back! He was last seen as Detective Sergeant Trotter in The Mousetrap. He would like to thank Dick for this pportunity and especially Michelle for all her patience with his time away from home. He would also like to dedicate his performance to his daughter Xena and his Fiancée Michelle, who are his inspirations in life.

Hedda Gabler Tesman - Kelli Harless
It has been an honour and a privilege to be able to step into this wonderful classic showpiece and play the role of Hedda Gabler. Ibsen's tightly written script clearly depicts so many facets of the human character that remain constant through today. Kelli has been actively involved with Patio for the past seven years -- my how time flies when you're having fun! Past roles at Patio include: Sally Bowles, Cabaret, Jane Tate, It Runs in the Family; Gen. Cartwright, Guys & Dolls. At Palomar College -- Margaret Hughes, Compleat Female Stage Beauty and Amalia, Theatrx roles include: Simone, Piaf; and Nicky, Smell of the Kill
Thanks to the boys at home for your support.

  Thea Elvsted - Courtney Potter
Courtney is a junior in high school, who is so happy to be a part of her first adult production and her first show with Patio Playhouse. She has been in seven plays, including Annie Jr. as Miss Hannigan and The Princess Knight as Princess Aurora. She is grateful for this opportunity and for the amazing people
she has had a chance to work with- they've welcomed her with open arms and made her really feel a part of the Playhouse family! She hopes you enjoy the show!!!
